New Job Board
I’ve just finished up a final bunch of details and am now ready to reveal the brand new Job Board. You can post and apply to jobs, as well as post and browse resumes. All for free!
Visit jobs.fitc.ca to get started.
This is a joint project with FITC and pretty soon we’ll be offering premium listings. For a small fee these listings will be featured at the top of the list and will also be featured on the FITC website. We currently have these premium listings there now, but this new board will provide a better way to browse them as well as cross post them to FlashinTO.
That said, our local community is encouraged to use the free listings for all manner of jobs big and small, for designers, developers or anyone else in interactive.
Let me know if you run in to any problems. There are still some quirks I want to iron out but I’ve tested most of the functionality and I think it’s good to at least get started with.
Finally, sorry for the delay in getting this up. He last system I was using was falling apart and it took some time to find something new and something that would work for FITC’s requirements as well.
Good job hunting!

Awesome! Thanks for taking the time in putting this together, as I think it’s incredibly valuable to the community. :-)
Thanks Matt! I’m super excited to finally get this up. The job board plugin we ended buying is quite feature reach so it took me some time to work through all the settings and functionality and customize things to our needs.
Part of the challenge of course was that we wanted to get this working for FITC’s needs as well, rather than duplicate work or resources by having two sites doing mostly the same thing. But I think it’s sorted out pretty well now.
Best part about this one is it makes it easy for regular job posters to manage their listings and the responses.
Once it’s been running for awhile we’ll start promoting to local companies. Eventually I could see other user groups in the city adopting this too.
