Report on FITC San Francisco

I promised after my presentation last week that I’d post a detailed follow-up with all the links and videos. Well my first attempt got lost in a browser crash and now I’ve just finished what ended up being far more ambitious then what I’d set out to post. In fact this is only part one. I’ve got some other discussion points from the presentation that I want to write about as well. In the meantime this epic post should keep you all busy until the next FlashinTO Gathering.

Problem with the Classifieds

Hey folks, I’ve just realized there are some problems with the Classified plugin I’m using for the Job Posts. It’s not working with our email system. I recently fixed this for the overall WordPress install but the Classifieds are using their own mailing code.

As such they aren’t send posters their access codes and people aren’t able to reply via the post. For now, please include contact info in your post while I work on solving this.

I’ve also found a problem with the Contact Form plugin I’m using – it doesn’t include your email address in the email it sends to me making it kind of useless. Please include your contact info in the body until I can figure this out.

Update: I’ve fixed the contact form.

Sorry for the problems, still working out the kinks on this new site.
